The Flower Garden

Flowers are vital to plants' continued existence and radiate an infinite variety of attraction to insects. They also attract us with their colours, shapes and perfumes. Painting can't capture the perfume (yet!) but artists  have been endlessly fascinated with capturing their individual form and arranging them in beautiful patterns. That their beauty is but fleeting adds to the intensity of appreciation.
